Privacy Policy

Loops is operated by Jeremey Charbonnet for personal use.
Information and purpose
With authorization, Loops accesses Gmail message content and metadata, read-only Google Calendar lists, events and availability, and authorized text-message and call information. It stores sources, notes, suggested and accepted commitments, and supporting evidence to organize follow-ups and track unfinished work.
The Gmail permission, gmail.modify, permits broader actions than Loops currently implements. Dismiss marks a message read. Delete moves a message to Trash. Spam moves a message to Trash and records a local sender preference; it does not move it to Gmail’s Spam folder. These controls do not send messages or permanently delete Gmail messages.
Processing and storage
Sources and commitment records are stored in an owner-restricted database and local records. Qwen runs on the owner’s PC. Phil uses OpenAI services to review relevant information through the Loops connection, including full source messages and context.
The owner’s ChatGPT model-improvement setting is currently off. OpenAI processing is remote, and content is retained under OpenAI’s ChatGPT retention policy. Saved chats generally remain until deleted. Deletion follows OpenAI’s published timelines and exceptions, including security and legal obligations. Turning off model improvement does not delete saved content or guarantee zero retention.
Retention and deletion
Captured communications and database versions are retained for ongoing personal history without automatic expiry unless explicitly removed. Deleting a source message or losing provider access does not automatically erase archived copies in Loops.
Deleting a Loop removes its active record but can leave history, deletion records and backups. Notes retain revision history. Removing a local file does not necessarily remove its database copy.
Successful calendar refreshes use a rolling 36-day event window and 35-day availability window. Failed refreshes may retain older cached information. Logs and backups have no verified fixed expiry.
Deletion is handled separately for each storage system and provider. Contact the operator to identify and request removal of specific records. Remaining copies must be checked before deletion is described as complete; there is no verified single-step erasure of all copies.
Google access can be revoked in Google Account connection settings. Revocation stops future access through that connection, but does not itself delete previously stored information.
